Philosophy

Our  philosophy has always been one that acknowledges and respects the uniqueness of each child. Beginning with the first moment of separation and early experiences in the world outside home, we attempt to provide a secure child-centered "second home" to foster self-confidence and self-esteem.

Children need to successfully be separated from home and transfer trust from family to school. In this sense, positive experiences in the center are critical, and these experiences establish a foundation from which children can reach their full potential. To ease this transition, a child care center must provide a warm and nurturing environment by offering educational programs designed to meet the developmental needs of the child as a whole, creating an environmental framework that focuses planning around indoor and outdoor interest areas and defining logical goals and objectives to help all children grow and develop.

Children’s fantasies and imagination are their most naive ways of representing their lives and feelings. We have noticed and learned from these types of expressions and even encourage them through the dramatic playing. Learning by playing and playing to feel happy is vital.   This also supports the belief that a child’s strong sense of self-esteem comes from experiencing happiness and success. The learning  becomes effective when the child is exposed to an atmosphere where its confidence is stimulated and is introduced to explore and familiarize themselves in the handling of social  is induced to him to the exploration and it is oriented to him in the handling of social situations and knowledge.

We see each child as an individual to enhance his/her sense of self worth and we make sure every day that our school provides every child with different opportunities to experiment a wide variety of educational tools in order to nurture growth in each of the areas of development.

We support and keep an open line of communication with parents that insures the best interest of the children.

The family/parents-oriented philosophy is a fundamental part of the pre-school program. Our communication is facilitated by posting monthly calendars of the activities, bulletin boards of the monthly news, conferences, written registries, staffing and special events through the school year. It encourages parents to become active members of the Center.
